Lock picking is the real-world equivalent of a lockpicking minigame, except nobody's health bar is ticking down. You use tension wrenches and picks to feel out the pins inside a lock, nudging each one until the cylinder turns. It's oddly meditative once you stop trying to brute-force it.

Ciekawostka
The oldest known lock is about 4,000 years old, found in the ruins of the Palace of Khorsabad near Nineveh. It was a wooden pin tumbler lock.
